Mayor Wete real name Mayowa Ayomide Shobowale is an award winning artiste that has proven to be appealing and commercially viable. His first official single “Wete” gained huge acceptance and was loved by many people at different places he has performed. Many radio personalities fell in love with the song which got him huge rotation on a few radio stations in the South Western part of Nigeria.
He is a recipient of the “Best Street Hop” category at the Pretoria Music Awards 2012 held in Pretoria, South Africa.
He has performed at different high class shows which include the 2013 Notting Hill Carnival in London.
