Music in Africa is diverse with each region bringing a different feel to the African Music Industry. It gets better when there’s a collaboration between two different regions with different sonic compositions.
Nigerian artists are like hotcakes, no matter the genre or region, they can and will always deliver. Most artists have collaborated with other artists from the south, West, and East Africa.
East Africa as the name suggests is the Eastern part of Africa which consists of more than 20 countries including Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda amongst others.

Diamond Platinumz ft Flavour
Celebrated Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platinumz is known for the spice he brings to music and how he sells the Bongo Flava genre. In Nana, he features Nigerian highlife singer, Flavour.
The two show seamlessly chemistry, its almost as if they are identical twins.
Harmonize feat. Burna Boy & Diamond Platnumz ‘Kainama’
Off Harmonize 2019 Afro Bongo Flava, “Kainama” is an incredibly contagious bongo-pop track that became a massive hit in both the East and West, which was hardly surprising considering it featured three African heavyweights which include Burna Boy and Diamond Platinumz.
It even had Burna Boy singing in Swahili flawlessly.
Diamond Platinumz ft Davido – Number One
Diamond Platinumz enlisted the help of Davido on his award-winning singing, “Number One” for a remix.
Davido flawlessly takes charge and sings in English and Swahili. The remix was a success to the point of overshadowing the original.
Sauti Sol ft Patoranking – Melanin
The Patoranking-assisted “Melanin” was released on November 21, 2017, as Sauti Sol’s “Afrikan Sauce” album’s lead single. It earned Sauti Sol a nomination for African Artiste of the Year at The Headies 2019.
In the mid-tempo track “Melanin”, Sauti Sol and Patoranking celebrate women of color and declare love for a woman who broke their hearts.
