Mixed reactions have trailed the news that Lyta officially joined Naira Marley’s label, Marlian Music.
Naira Marley dropped the surprising announcement on the 12th of August via his socials with a picture of him and Lyta signing the contract on the bed.
Recall that Lyta is signed to Doro Music and before that was in YBNL owned by Olamide. He left YBNL in 2019 amidst issues between him and Olamide.
This new partnership between Lyta and Naira Marley led to mixed reactions. Some praised the move even suggesting they drop a collaboration immediately.
Others weren’t excited, recalling Lyta’s issue with YBNL. Some wondered why the two were signing a contract on top of a bed and asked if a lawyer was present at their gathering.

Nigerian artist signing contract on top of bed, no representative, nothing, then when it goes south you start painting the record label as evil
