Nigerian Rapper, Yung6ix revealed how much he currently charges for a verse.
Yung6ix posted a throwback video of him in an interview session and wrote that though he couldn’t remember when he did the interview, he remembered when the interviewer wrote that no one should give him one million Naira to do a verse.
He said though he was disappointed with the article because he considered the interviewer a friend.
He also revealed that he now charges $15,000 (5.7 Million Naira) to drop a 16 bars verse in someone else’s song.
He wrote,
This hit differently, can’t remember doing this interview but few years ago this same interviewer wrote a full article of why I shouldn’t be paid 1 million for a verse, so disappointed I may have considered him a friend at that time. Anyways it’s $15,000 dollars for a 16 now.
