South African singer, Sho Madjozi came for Burna Boy after he responded to her accusations.
Sho Madjozi had earlier accused Burna Boy of bullying her and having the remix of Stormzy’s “Own It” be taken down after she and Burna Boy were nominated for the same category for BET Awards 2020.
Burna Boy in response told Sho Madjozi that he didn’t order the song be taken down as he doesn’t own the song and claimed that the Label might be responsible for it.
Sho Madjozi however doesn’t believe Burna Boy’s explanation. She said that how could a song be automatically flagged a month after it was released and how would an International label release a song without clearing.
Burna Boy was featured in Stormzy’s “Own It” alongside Ed Sheeran. The remix which is now the bone of contention featured Sho Madjozi.
To believe this I would have to believe that:
1. The song got automatically flagged a month late by coincidence
2. When they said YOU wanted it down they meant your label
3. A big international label would release a song without clearing it
It’s a lot Burna. Let’s keep it 💯 https://t.co/pmxuZTYRke
