Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez has come to the defense of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome for saying that Christians should be able to touch COVID-19 patients.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome who happens to be the General Overseer of Loveworld International, in a trending said that one can’t say that he believes in Christ and be afraid to touch a coronavirus patient.

He was reacting to the Federal Government regulation on the gradual opening of religious houses and condemned many ministers of God who have been supporting government control of religious houses.

These people who are afraid are pretending to be representing the Christians to the government, it’s a shame. I think the government leaders are laughing at them.

“…If you are afraid of the virus, you have no gospel. Your gospel has ended. The moment you start giving such guidelines to people in the church, you’ve repudiated your faith in Christ,”

After the video went viral, Pastor Chris was slammed by Nigerians who called him selfish and ignorant.

However, Blaqbonez came on social media to defend the man of God saying,

I see people mad at Pastor Chris but the bible you say you believe in says
“when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” you should be mad at the bible, not the pastor.
