Nigerian actresses, Rita Dominic and Eku Edewor have gone on social media to caution D’banj after he had Seyitan arrested for accusing him of rape.
Rita Dominic said that Nigeria is 60 years after independence and it was a shame still continues to allow themselves to be used to intimidate citizens.
Adding that everyone involved in detaining Seyitan has a case to answer. She said that defending oneself doesn’t mean intimidating their accuser.
Eku Edewor was more direct saying that how can D’banj defend himself by allowing his team to commit more crimes.
She said that D’banj arresting Seyitan reeks of desperation and that it was shameful for him to use this route.
It is 60 years after independence yet the police continues to allow themselves be used to intimidate citizens. Intimidating a person who cries out that he/she has been raped is the worst kind. That is like victimizing them all over again (1 of 2)

Every1 involved in detaining Ms. Babatayo have a case to answer. Keeping quiet about this only serves to shut down victims & that’s not something we should encourage in our society. Defending oneself from a rape accusation should not include intimidation of the accuser. (2 of 2)

How can you defend yourself from a criminal accusation by asking your team to commit more crimes on your behalf?! @iamdbanj if you are not guilty, then this route is incredibly damning and reeks of desperation. It’s is abhorrent to use your power and influence in this way.
