American singer, Ariana Grande has responded to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s accusation that she and Justin Bieber bought their No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for their joint charity single, “Stuck With U.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine had first taken to Instagram last weekend to slam BillBoard for cheating him out of a number one spot, claiming they were playing favorites.
He later took to Instagram to post a video where he said that he made an investigation into how “Stuck with You” by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber could suddenly be on a number one spot few hours just after they were number five on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to the “Fefe” singer, he reportedly found that Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber bought 30,000 units out of the 60,000 units that catapulted them to the number one spot using six credit cards.
Ariana Grande took to Instagram to defend her an Justin Bieber, saying that the units were bought by her’s and Justin’s fans. Adding that Billboard only allows four sales per buyer are counted toward the Billboard calculation and that sales have always counted for more than streams.
Ariana Grande advised, “anybody that is displeased with their placement” to humble themselves.
“Be grateful you’re even here,” Ariana Grande said. “that people want to listen to u at all. it’s a blessed position to be in.”
Tekashi 6ix9ine took to Instagram to respond to Ariana Grande, saying that he wasn’t coming for her but Billboard and that he thinks she is a talented singer.
Tekashi 6ix9ine said Ariana will never understand his pain because they both had different childhood and that she had it better than him.
