Nigerian singer, Waje shared the story of she once turned down a 25 million investment that was meant to boost her career.
Waje during an Instagram chat with music mogul, Ubi Franklin told him that during the period she released her “I Wish” single, an investor gave her an investment of 25 million Naira.
According to her, the Investor put someone in charge as the label head. Her woes started when she was about to shoot the video for “I Wish” and the label head wanted his family members to handle everything concerning the shoot.
However, Waje was against this because she had her set of trusted professionals who have been working for her for a long time.
Waje said that so as not to lose her sanity over the issue, she returned the 25 million investment.
