Access Bank announced that it would be retrenching 75 percent of its workforce which will mostly consist of outsourced staff like cleaners, security, and tellers and also will be slashing the salary of the remaining staff.

Yemi Alade reacting to the news said that the bank could afford to donate one billion Naira to the Nigerian Government and still want to reduce its staff.

    The ‘Shekere singer’ wrote,

Your bank donated 1billion to the govt and now you are slashing down workers Salary, plus laying off staff, I am sorry but you cannot give, what you do not have. Focus on the most important asset “YOUR STAFF”. Instead of local for HYPE.
