DJ Neptune shared his experience with working with late Dagrin.
“We crossed path 2005 when you stopped by Raypower 100.5 FM Lagos to promote your “Bukky in Primary 4 in 94″ single. I was just newly employed as a radio DJ and on this particular day you walked into the room, you were full of positive energy. Your goal and drive were to be the BEST and stay on TOP and make your peers proud and happy.” DJ Neptune wrote
He continued with how he clicked with the rapper and they became like brothers who looked out for each other.
“I am happy you fulfilled your dream and just so you know your boys are out here doing you proud @iam_yq @looksosa and the list goes on. Can’t lie sometimes I wish you didn’t have to go to the other side, I imagined how BIG and SUCCESSFUL you would have been but they say GOD KNOWS BEST. Continue to shine my LEGEND ???? WE ALL MISS YOU”
DJ Neptune in a tweet also revealed that Dagrin wrote and recorded his verse in 2010 hit song, “123” in less than ten minutes. When a fan expressed his astonishment at the tweet, DJ Neptune replied,
“Yes He was that Good.
