Banky W reacting to the news of state Governors lifting the ban on social gathering so people can celebrate asked sarcastically if they had an agreement with coronavirus to go on Easter break.
He tweeted,
So for the State Governments that have suspended isolation & social distancing for Easter… do they have an agreement with the Coronavirus that it will also go on Easter break as well? These our “leaders” sha. Kai.
The Easter celebration which began today and would end on Monday has been declared as public holiday despite the fact that most Nigerians are at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
States like Kogi, Imo, Rivers and Ebonyi States, lifted the ban on religious gathering to enable Christians to observe Good Friday today and Easter on Sunday.
So for the State Governments that have suspended isolation & social distancing for Easter… do they have an agreement with the Corona virus that it will also go on Easter break as well? These our "leaders" sha. Kai. 🤦🏾♂️🚶🏾♂️
