In the meantime, a lot of fans have been responding to what Wizkid said about Davido as a result of this back-and-forth. This may be the start of a new argument that fans have been hoping would finish so they can release a collaborative album together.
Relatedly, Davido has stirred up discussions on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) after he echoed a famous statement made by Wizkid, saying, “That one nah your papa business.”
This reference harkens back to a memorable incident on April 2nd, 2023, when BigWizkid tweeted, “Money don’t buy love,” and a user disagreed, prompting BigWizkid to respond with his signature retort, “That one ur papa business.”
