“He too dey copy Big Wiz” – Davido trends online for copying Wizkid’s statement while responding to a troll
Superstar Afrobeats sensation Davido has sparked a trending conversation online with his recent clapback at a troll.
Davido, renowned for hits like “Unavailable,” stirred up discussions on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) after he echoed a famous statement made by Wizkid, saying, “That one nah your papa business.”
This reference harkens back to a memorable incident on April 2nd, 2023, when Wizkid tweeted, “Money don’t buy love,” and a user disagreed, prompting Wizkid to respond with his signature retort, “That one ur papa business.”
Adding to the buzz surrounding Davido, headlines emerged as he purchased the electric 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre, valued at $500K (N700M).
Confirming the acquisition and the arrival of his luxurious new ride, Davido took to X to share, “I NEED AN ELECTRIC CAR CHARGER SHIPPED TO NAIJA.”

In response, an X user identified as @Seniormandre accused the singer of seeking attention, suggesting he could easily purchase the charger from where he claimed to have bought the car.
The X user tweeted, “Oba fooling!!😂u no know where u buy car make u buy charger there ?”
Unfazed by the jab, Davido fired back, targeting the user’s paternal lineage, echoing Wizkid’s previous response, stating, “That one nah ur papa business 😂.”
