Ghanaian artist Amaarae has made waves in the music industry by securing a groundbreaking deal with Bad Habit, a renowned label, management, and publishing company established in 2015. This exciting development was announced via a social media post on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Known for its prestigious collaborations with industry giants such as Atlantic Records, Warner Chappell, and the Alternative Distribution Alliance, Bad Habit offers unmatched opportunities for its artists to thrive in the music business.
Amaarae, whose rapid ascent began with the release of her album “Fountain Baby,” is set to join an impressive lineup of talents on Bad Habit’s roster, which includes Grammy Award winner Burna Boy.
According to pop-culture journalist Olele Salvador, the deal represents a co-partnership agreement with Amaarae’s independent label, Golden Child Entertainment Ltd. Under the guidance of her new home, Amaarae’s day-to-day operations, career strategy, shows, tours, and collaborations with Interscope, the label behind “Fountain Baby,” will be carefully curated.

This exciting partnership sets the stage for Amaarae to reach new heights in her music career.
“We’ve witnessed Bad Habit’s role in shaping Burna Boy into the megastar he is today. With Amaarae, we anticipate strategic international collaborations and high-profile endorsements beyond music,” Salvador remarked.
Amaarae’s previous forays into prestigious events such as the Grammys and VMAs set the stage for potential global accolades in the coming years under the stewardship of Bad Habit. With this groundbreaking partnership, Amaarae emerges as a frontrunner in the global music scene, poised for unparalleled success and recognition on an international scale.
