Ayra Starr celebrates completion of borehole installation for a community
Nigerian artist Ayra Starr recently expressed her joy following the successful installation of a borehole in the Orimolade Ifako Community.
This accomplishment represents a significant milestone for her ongoing “E dey rush” campaign, which is dedicated to providing clean and safe water to underserved communities.
For over two decades, the Orimolade Ifako Community has grappled with water scarcity issues. However, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Ayra Starr, Hope Spring Water, and Mavin Records, the community now has access to a sustainable water source.
Taking to social media on Saturday, March 30, 2024, Ayra Starr reflected on the initiative, emphasizing the importance of ensuring everyone has access to clean water. She expressed gratitude for the partnership that made the project possible.
She wrote, “Started ‘E Dey Rush’ campaign last year to provide clean and safe water to communities. I’m so happy to see the Orimolade Ifako Community getting their borehole installation. I’m grateful for the partnership of @hopespringwater & @mavinrecords to make this happen. Everyone deserves good water.”
