As reported by Mp3bullet, Universal Music Group (UMG) has finalized the acquisition of a controlling interest in the Nigerian record label, Mavin.

In a statement released on Monday, February 27th, 2024, UMG announced that the deal, pending regulatory approval, is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2024.

Don Jazzy also confirmed Mavin Records’ official partnership with Universal Music Group through his verified Instagram page.
