“Who is your husband, I will buy you” – Portable retaliates as Laide Bakare called him dirty boy in an interview (Video)
Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has sparked controversy in a recent video where he vehemently criticizes actress Laide Bakare after she allegedly referred to him as a “dirty boy” in an interview.
During an interview with actress Biola Bayo, Laide Bakare, who currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment in Osun State, reportedly made derogatory remarks about Portable, labeling him as a “dirty boy.”
This confrontation ensued after Portable expressed his disapproval of Laide Bakare advising his wife, Ashabi Simple, following comments made by the actress in an interview. In the interview, Laide Bakare mentioned that if her partner cheated on her, she would retaliate by cheating as well.
Reacting to being called a “dirty boy” by Laide Bakare, Portable took to Instagram Live to launch a scathing attack on the actress. He accused her of lacking a husband in her own home and alleged that she engages in relationships with multiple men.
Portable further claimed that Laide Bakare had previously reached out to him through direct messages (DMs), seeking his phone number and attention. He also alleged that she once requested him to attend her birthday celebration, but he declined due to her failure to cover the expenses.
Asserting his financial prowess, Portable boldly stated that he could afford to buy Laide Bakare and even marry her. He challenged her to disclose information about her purported husband, emphasizing his capability of acquiring her as a spouse.
In his impassioned statement, Portable declared, “I will buy you and marry you. Who is your husband? Name your husband.”
