Portable blasts Super Eagles for losing the AFCON final to Ivory Coast
In a recent video, controversial Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola Olanrewaju, better known by his stage name Portable, criticizes the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their defeat to Ivory Coast in the AFCON final.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were defeated 2:1 by the host nation, Ivory Coast, in the competition’s final match yesterday, Sunday, February 11, 2024, and therefore were not able to win the 2023 Africa Cup.
Some praised the Super Eagles for their efforts in making it to the competition final, but Portable has now joined the group of Nigerians who are dragging some of the players from the Super Eagles.
A few days after criticizing Nigerians for consuming energy to watch the AFCON and admitting that circumstances are dire in the nation, Portable denigrates Super Eagles players in a new video.
The “Zazoo Zeh” hitmaker claimed that the Super Eagles players didn’t deserve to win because they didn’t perform well enough to take home the trophy.
He went on to say that the Elephants of Ivory Coast would be destroyed by some gifted players like Sango and Agege in the AFCON final.
