Tyla to release debut eponymous album in March
South African sensational artist Tyla is sparking excitement among her fans by revealing the release date for her debut self-titled album, following her recent Grammy win.
The Grammy awardee has already released five tracks from the upcoming album, including “Water,” “Truth or Dare,” “On and On,” and “Butterflies,” along with a remix of “Water” featuring Travis Scott. Notably, “Water,” released in July 2023, has garnered international acclaim. At just 21 years old, Tyla has made history as the first and youngest solo South African artist to grace the Billboard Hot 100 in 55 years.
Her debut album is set to feature a total of 14 tracks. To further celebrate the album’s release, Tyla has announced ‘The Tyla Tour,‘ scheduled to kick off on March 21, 2024, in Oslo and conclude on May 28, 2024, in Minneapolis. Fans can anticipate the album’s official release on March 22, 2024.

In other news, Nigerian singer Davido has congratulated South African singer Tyla for winning the category of Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony held in Los Angeles.
Tyla had defeated Nigerian heavyweights Asake, Davido, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr to secure this win.
Davido took to his X page to wish the singer well and commend her for Africa’s win.
