Ayra revealed that she has readied everything from her dress and walk to even her acceptance speech for the 66th Grammy Awards.
As the anticipation builds for the 2024 Grammy Awards, where Ayra Starr’s hit single ‘Rush‘ is nominated for Best African Song Performance, she expresses her full readiness for the ceremony.
During the interview with popular OAP Dotun, Ayra was asked about her plans after potentially winning a Grammy. She disclosed that her first move would be to visit her favorite Chinese restaurant to enjoy a meal.
After savoring the moment, she intends to video call her mother, making it a special celebration to share with her loved ones. The interview reflects Ayra Starr’s excitement and preparedness for the prestigious music awards event.

The amazing vocalist is a first-time candidate, joining other Nigerian talents Davido, Asake & Olamide, and South Africa’s Tyla in the debut category, which is completed by Grammy-winner Burna Boy.
Ayra Starr also said that if she doesn’t win this year, she already has her wardrobe and acceptance speech planned for 2025 and later years.
The 66th Grammy Awards is set to take place on February 5 at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, USA, and it will be hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah.
