Cristiano Ronaldo issues public apology as Al-Nassr cancel tour of China due to injury blow for star forward.
Cristiano Ronaldo has publicly apologized after an injury led to the cancellation of Al-Nassr’s two-game tour of China. Ronaldo, nursing a muscle complaint, would have been unable to play against Shanghai Shenhua and Zheijang. Consequently, the friendly games have been postponed with the intention of rescheduling them at a later date.

There are suggestions that Ronaldo might face a couple of weeks on the sidelines, potentially impacting his participation in the Riyadh Cup, where Al-Nassr is set to face Inter Miami, bringing Ronaldo and Lionel Messi together again.
Expressing his regret over the situation, Ronaldo stated, “I’m really sad because Al-Nassr and myself have come to China to enjoy the tour. I have been coming to China since 2003/2004, so I feel at home here – my second home. I felt that I am always special here. I feel sad. I know you are sad too, especially the people who love Cristiano, but we have to see this in a good way.”
Despite the setback, Ronaldo reassured fans that the games were not canceled permanently and that the team intends to return to China. He acknowledged the circumstances as part of football and expressed his commitment to making the Chinese people happy through his performances. Al-Nassr is scheduled to face Inter Miami on February 1 and then continue with their plans against Al-Hilal and Al Feiha in the AFC Champions League.
