Portable reveals prospective artists who are reportedly attempting to get a deal with Charms.
Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has exposed upcoming musicians in the area who attempted to use charm to land a record deal with him.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, Portable shared a video on his profile on Instagram expressing his dissatisfaction at finding out that two people were attempting to use charms on him in order to get a record label deal.
The singer said that although these people had first approached him about a deal, they had failed when asked to show off their talents. Then Portable told them to go out.
Despite being dismissed, the duo allegedly rented an apartment near his studio and resorted to making charms.
Portable stated they subsequently returned with these charms, with one cutting him in the hand and the other threatening him with the charm on the floor, warning of grave repercussions if he didn’t cooperate.
Portable noted that he was not scared but stood strong despite what happened. He made a video exposing the two people online, and a lot of people commented, sharing their thoughts about the incident.
