Having transitioned into music with his hit song ‘Machala’ released in 2022, Carter Efe has continued his musical journey, offering a glimpse of his new track through a snippet. Via Instagram, he announced, “Babypiano out soon!! 2024 no gree for anybody.”

However, the snippet received criticism from some fans, with opinions suggesting that comedic figures like Shallipopi and Carter Efe are turning the Nigerian music industry into a joke.
Notably, another Instagram skit maker, OGB Recent, also weighed in on the snippet, expressing skepticism about the song’s success. He commented that it wouldn’t make it to the first two billion songs on charts, let alone the top 100.
