I cry tire – Zlatan Ibile rejoices over friend Oladips’ ‘resurrection’
The musician from Nigeria, Olmoniyi Temidayo Raphael, better known by his stage name Zlatan Ibile, is relieved that Oladips‘ supposed “death” was only a gigantic lie.
In regards to his buddy Oladips, whom he and the rest of the world had previously believed to be dead, the musician expressed on Instagram stories how relieved he was. In an effort to show his thankfulness for his friend’s recovery, he shared a photo of himself from earlier, showing his puffy and teary face.
Zlatan expressed that he was simply relieved to have his friend back and was not affected by the circumstances surrounding Oladips‘ death.
He continued by saying that he had listened to Oladips’s most recent album, Superhero Adugbo, so much that he had learned the songs by heart during the period he believed he had lost Oladips.
He said, “I cry tire, I no care where you go, I just thank God say you come back. The emotion wey I use hear these songs, I fit rap every track word for word.”
On November 15, 2023, Oladips‘ death was declared, and Zlatan was devastated. He shared a picture of his broken heart on Instagram. He uploaded old photos of them from before they were famous, saying he was at a loss for words. Subsequently, Oladips’ “death” and its circumstances became very contentious, with many claiming it was a publicity hoax.
At the time, Oladips came out in favor of himself in public, explaining that he was genuinely ill and had not responded for the three days that he had been declared dead. He has now expressed regret to the public.
