I don’t want money, just feature me – Portable to Wizkid & Davido
Nigerian music sensation Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has made a bold request from megastars Wizkid and Davido. In a video posted on his Instagram account, Portable reacted to Wizkid’s philanthropic act of gifting rising Hypeman GOE 20 million naira and reminded Nigerians that he was the one who encouraged Wizkid to show love to the streets.
Portable had previously requested that megastars like Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy show love to the streets during an appearance on the Honest Mind Podcast. Now that Wizkid has acted on his request, Portable has a new ask: he wants a verse from Wizkid, stating that he doesn’t want money but believes a verse would translate to more income for him. He makes a similar request to Davido, asking for a life-changing verse.

Portable, after enjoying mainstream success with the Olamide Baddo-assisted ‘Zazzu Zeh‘ hit single, has been actively seeking collaborations with top Afrobeats superstars. He has expressed his aspirations for superstar status and has requested collaborations from Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and Asake.
Despite not receiving a verse from any of the mentioned superstars yet, Portable remains determined in his efforts to secure high-profile collaborations and continue his ascent in the music industry. His persistence showcases the ambition and drive that many artists exhibit as they strive for greater recognition and success.
