Nigerian singer, WurlD is out with his highly anticipated studio EP tagged, Don’t Get Used To This.
WurlD clarifies the concept of Don’t Get Used To This, characterizing it as a love project that revolves around accepting the present. The body of work invites listeners to let go of the past and future in favor of fully experiencing the range of emotions felt in the present moment. Even though the music portrays a charming love, WurlD warns his listeners that the future is still unknown. To quote him directly, “enjoy these sounds but don’t get used to it.”
WurlD made his music debut with this eight-track EP under Addictive Content, a new label he co-founded with his brother Muktar Onifade, a stylist, creative director, and fashion designer. The label wants to highlight the next wave of African talent and the sounds of the future. With the exception of Location, the captivating third single, which was exclusively created by Nigerian seasoned producer Sarz, WurlD co-produced every song alongside up-and-coming producers on the label.
