Our song wasn’t a diss to Davido – Portable defends collabo with Dammy Krane (Video)
Nigerian controversial artist Habeeb Okikiola, who is popularly known as Portable, has made it clear that his recent collaborative song with Dammy Krane is not intended as a diss track directed at Davido, as some had speculated.
Portable, who recently worked with Dammy Krane, stated that the song was not meant to be disrespectful towards the DMW boss, Davido.
A few days ago, Dammy Krane shared a video of himself and Portable having a studio session with the intention of creating a diss track against Davido, which had fueled the rumors.
In response to the rumors, Portable explained in a video message circulating on X that his studio session with Krane was purely a business endeavor and had no connection to his disagreements with Davido.
He emphasized that the collaboration was centered on their professional work, and the song was a prayer song. Portable also encouraged both parties to resolve their differences and questioned why people would object to his collaboration with Krane solely because of his dispute with the FIA singer.
Portable said, “Dammy Krane sing with me una say we insult Davido. It was strictly business. Music is business.
“Now, because of say Dammy Krane dey fight with Davido make we no sing together? Uncle Dammy Krane and uncle Davido make una forgive each other.”
