I spend N3 million on diesel every month – Singer, Paul Psquare laments
Popular musician Paul Okoye, well known by his stage name Rudeboy of the Psquare, has lamented about the extreme economic difficulties in Nigeria, particularly the increase in fuel prices.
The ‘Reason With Me‘ singer bemoaned the fact that he spent N120,000 on his first automobile many years ago but now spends N3 million per month on petrol.
Rudeboy called the current state of the economy “total madness” and claimed he can’t even begin to understand what the poor are going through.
On his Instagram story, he wrote, “I bought my first car 120k naira years back and I was very proud of that… Now I spend 3m naira on diesel for just a month… Total madness.
“Only God knows what a common man is going through.”
Recall, Rudeboy has expressed his concern over the skyrocketing cost of living in Nigeria. In a recent tweet, he lamented the current economic situation in the country.
Rudeboy, the singer behind the hit song “Reason With Me,” has expressed his concern about the recent increase in the price of foodstuffs and the overall cost of living in Nigeria. According to him, the skyrocketing cost of living is just the beginning, indicating that the situation may worsen in the future.
Rudeboy took to his Twitter handle on Thursday to share his thoughts and urge Nigerians to be prepared for the challenges ahead. His statement highlights the economic hardships faced by many Nigerians and serves as a call for awareness and resilience in the face of these difficulties.
