    Naira Marley Issues Statement Regarding Death Of Mohbad, Bella Shmurda Reacts

    Naira Marley, the owner and singer of Marlian Music, has declared in a formal declaration that he is not responsible for the premature passing of his ex-signee Mohbad.

    Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad died on September 12; Naira Marley said in a statement made public today (September 26) that he had no participation in the incident.

    After his death, a video showing Mohbad being harassed by a group of guys headed by Marley’s associate named Sam Larry during a music video shoot for rapper Zlatan became viral on social media. Zlatan acted impulsively to stop the attack from behind Mohbad.

    Long before his death, Mohbad had also said in a video that Naira Marley should be held liable if anything happened to him.

    Though they had a falling out, Marley said in a statement posted on Instagram that he was not ‘either directly or indirectly’ to blame for Mohbad’s passing.

    He said: ‘In the last few days, there has been a lot of onslaught on my person and reputation globally over the death of my former signee. All manner of stories has been woven against me in respect of his untimely death… Permit me to categorically state that I have no hand in the death of Ilerioluwa, either directly or indirectly. It is not unusual in the industry, just like in several other industries to have family friction, even amongst blood relatives’.

    In reaction to the statement, Bella Shmurda has urged Naira Marley to voluntarily present himself at a nearby police station. This comes in response to a statement made by Naira Marley, the CEO of Marlians Record, where he asserted his innocence regarding the unfortunate passing of his former signee, Mohbad.

    In light of these developments, Bella, who is a close friend of Mohbad, has expressed the importance of Naira Marley cooperating with the authorities by going to a nearby police station to address the matter.
