DJ Cuppy Gets Starstruck As She Meets Asake For The First Time.
Popular Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, couldn’t contain her starstruck excitement when she met the Afrobeats sensation, Asake, for the very first time.
Sharing a brief video on her verified X (formerly Twitter) page on Tuesday afternoon, September 12, DJ Cuppy captured the special moment.
In the video, Cuppy was in the midst of a performance at an event when Asake made his entrance and approached her set. Her surprise and excitement were evident as she screamed and extended her arms for a warm embrace.
Following their hug and exchange of greetings, DJ Cuppy didn’t want the encounter to end just yet. She called Asake back and asked if they could take pictures together.
In the caption of her post, DJ Cuppy expressed her starstruck feelings, mentioning that it was her first real-life meeting with Asake. She also playfully revealed that she had finally had the chance to discuss her desire to be Asake’s backup singer with him.
