Davido postpones Timeless Tour to sort out production issues.
Following his performances in North America and Dubai, Nigerian award-winning artist David Adedeji Adeleke, who is professionally known as Davido has decided to reschedule the remaining dates of his ‘Timeless Tour.’
The postponement was communicated by the artist himself on Monday evening, September 11, through an official statement posted on his verified social media page.
In the statement, Davido, who has been on tour since the release of his ‘Timeless‘ album in April of this year, expressed his immense joy in reconnecting with his fans during the Timeless Tour.
He mentioned the enthusiastic turnout at sold-out shows across North America and Dubai. However, he announced that after his upcoming performance in Manchester, he would be shifting the remaining European tour dates on the ‘Timeless Tour‘ to the first quarter of 2024.
He clarified that the decision, despite fans already purchasing tickets, was influenced by production challenges and his unwavering commitment to delivering an outstanding show. Davido also encouraged fans who have bought tickets to hold onto them and await the announcement of new dates.
The statement read: ‘One of my greatest joys this year has been reconnecting with all of you during my Timeless Tour. I’ve been humbled to see so many of you show up at sold out shows across North America and Dubai. The energy has been incredible, bless you all.
‘I’m passionate about giving you a truly timeless experience, every show, every time – one that you all deserve. So, with this in mind, I’ve made the decision that after my first show in Manchester, I’ll be moving my remaining European dates until Q1 2024. The additional time allows us to sort out some of the production issues we have been experiencing and gives us time to improve and create a bigger and more immersive show.
‘Please accept my heartfelt apologies, but, as I’ve said, there is a time for everything, and I believe that taking a few months now to make your experience perfect will be time well spent.
