Comedian Carter Efe reveals he has settled his beef with Blaqbonez
Famous Nigerian comedian and singer, Oderhwo Joseph Efe, who goes by the name Carter Efe, has announced that he has resolved his beef with rapper Blaqbonez.
Last year, the two artists engaged in a public exchange of words on social media after Blaqbonez accused Carter Efe of unfair sharing of profits from their joint song ‘Machala,’ which featured singer Berri Tiga.
However, in a recent interview with MTV Base, Carter Efe confirmed that he and Blaqbonez have reconciled their issues.
This reconciliation highlights the fluid nature of relationships in the entertainment industry and showcases their maturity in resolving conflicts and moving forward on a positive note.
He said, “My beef with Blaqbonez wasn’t a cruise. It was a real quarrel. He find my trouble. I just dey my own for Twitter, him just come dey say, ‘If you think music is easy, why do you want to give Berri Tiga 5% [of the proceeds of ‘Machala’]?’
“I was surprised. I didn’t reply him. My handler was replying him on Twitter and they were trading words. He thought I was the one.
“But we have settled now. That’s guys for you. We are not like women; they envy each other [laughs].”
