Adekunle Gold blasts Brymo over recent comment about his wife, Simi
Nigerian Afro-fusion artist Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as AG Baby, has blasted musical artiste and colleague Brymo over the latter’s recent comment about his wife Simi.
The famous performer stood up for his wife after Brymo made what appeared to be an insulting remark about the Kosokos.
The controversial Brymo caused a debate after he shared a post on Friday, July 21, 2023, about award-winning songstress Simi, who is equally Adekunle Gold’s wife and baby mother.
The post shared by Brymo, which is regarded by many as unnecessary and disrespectful, saw the singer-songwriter stating that he requested to get intimate with Simi when she had requested a collaboration, a situation that made the collaboration not happen.
The unexpected disclosure happened after a social media fan asked Adekunle Gold if Brymo will be featured on his future project, and Brymo responded with a stunning response.
As expected, Adekunle Gold took a break from promoting his upcoming fifth studio album, ‘Tequila Ever After,’ which will feature Simi, to address Brymo.
The singer stated unequivocally that Brymo should stop disrespecting his wife and family and asked him to seek help.
He wrote:

Brymo stated in an interview sometime in 2022 why he hasn’t collaborated with Adekunle Gold.
According to the sonic vocalist, AG approached him about working, but he (Brymo) wanted to record an EP rather than simply a song to make more money, which he believes is why the collaboration did not take place.
Brymo’s latest disclosure underlines the challenges that female musicians face in the music industry at the hands of their male rivals.
