Burna Boy wins his fourth BET award, beating out Uncle Waffles and K.O.
Famous Nigerian artist Burna Boy defeated Mzansi’s K.O and Eswatini’s Uncle Waffles to win Best International Act at the BET Awards on Sunday night.
At the BET awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, Burna Boy triumphed against K.O. and Uncle Waffles for the title of Best International Act.
Following the success of his 2022 album Love, Damini on a global level, the Nigerian singer got his fourth BET International Act award. The award was previously won by the 31-year-old, who wasn’t there, in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Uncle Waffles, who was wearing a design by Key Fashion, congratulated Burna Boy during the awards ceremony.
The statement was made by well-known Twitter user @AdvoBarryRoux, and the comments section was chaotic as a result of the manner he categorized the message. Uncle Waffles was the target of his fingered accusation.

Many people were upset that Uncle Waffles represented her country Swaziland at the Awards, so they made the decision to drag her. Peeps said that had she participated on behalf of South Africa, she would have won the Best International Act prize.
Uncle Waffles was supported by Swazis who wouldn’t let their own people down.
Pabi Cooper, or Paballo Basetsana Mothapo, departed the 2023 BET Awards empty-handed and meanwhile, the South African dancer attended the renowned American event alongside K.O. and Uncle Waffles.
However, they all finished last in their respective divisions. The BET Best New International Act Award went to Libianca (Cameroon); Pabi was nominated in the same category.
Despite not winning anything, the Amapiano star looked stunning on the red carpet in a pink ensemble.
