The well-known activist and singer Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has declared his intention to host a thanksgiving service after surviving prostate cancer.
This follows his recent disclosure of his struggle with prostate cancer.
Charly Boy shared his story on his Instagram page, detailing how he was affected by the condition and eventually recovered.
In order to treat his prostate cancer, which he had been fighting for more than 10 days, he underwent surgery. He uploaded a video of himself being wheeled out of the operating room.
The musician thanked God for sparing his life and for his family’s continuous support throughout the trying time.
In his post, Charly Boy also expressed his gratitude to the Nigerian surgeon, recognizing the crucial role that the healthcare provider had in his recovery.
The activist-singer referred to his survival as the greatest blessing that God had bestowed upon him and expressed his sincere thanks for being given a second chance at life.
He also reveals that his manhood will start working again and plans to celebrate by holding a Thanksgiving for it.
He concluded by stating that “it is not easy to be a man”.
He wrote;
