Ayra Starr And Black Sherif Will Be The Only African Artists To Do This.
Ghanaian and Nigerian music stars, Black Sherif and Ayra Starr have been announced as the only African artists that would be performing at a popular festival in the US.
The duo have been confirmed as the only African singers that will perform among some of America’s biggest talents at the “Something In The Water” festival in 2023.
The festival, which was founded in 2019, is organized by music entrepreneur and producer Pharell Williams and will take place on the 28th and 30th of April 2023. It was also reported that this year’s version will be held in Virginia Beach, United States.
The concert brings together musicians from all around the world to promote empowerment and diversity.
The musicians will be performing alongside well-known international acts such as ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, The Jonas Brothers, Clipse, Grace Jones, Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan, Maren Morris, Mumford & Sons, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Lil Yachty, 100 Gecs, Skrillex, Kid Cudi, amongst others.
Additionally, it was disclosed that there will be special guest performers who had not yet been confirmed.
