Mr Eazi receives four certificates, becomes first Nigerian to win Latin Grammy
Mr Eazi has dominated global headlines and made history by being the first Nigerian performer to win a Latin Grammy, after earning nominations in four categories at the 21st edition of the annual Latin Grammy awards.
The nominations and win are for his contributions to J Balvin’s and Bad Bunny’s albums.
Mr Eazi was a featured artist on the J Balvin song “Arcoris” from the album “Colores,” which took home the award for “Best Urban Album,” as well as “Oasis” from the J Balvin x Bad Bunny album, which won the same award.
Mr Eazi’s contributions to “Oasis” and “Colores” received widespread praise for their genre-defying sound and avant-garde treatment of Latin music.
