Erik ten Hag hints at new position for Jadon Sancho.
Erik ten Hag has hinted Jadon Sancho could be used as a number 10 more often by Manchester United.
Sancho just returned from a protracted absence from the field and has since found himself playing in a number of different places.
The former Borussia Dortmund player was used as the number 10 in the 0-0 draw with Southampton, and Ten Hag told the press that he was impressed with Sancho’s performance there.
He said: ”I think he did quite well as a number 10. Like he did against Barcelona and Leicester. He was really decisive against Leicester and also today with some really good actions.

“One time, he was really close to the goal with a run at the defending line and a cross to Bruno almost came there. He did a good job.
“I think he can [be a game changer], I think he can make the difference when we play three against two in the midfield. And that is not bad when you have Casemiro and Bruno and you have Jadon Sancho.”
Sancho may take on a more pivotal position when Manchester United and Real Betis square off on Thursday night in the second leg of their Europa League round-of-16 game.
