Cameroonian American Afrobeats singer, Libianca continues to ascend in the most recent edition of the UK Official Singles Chart, with her smash single “People” setting a new record.

Libianca created the tune that transformed her life in the midst of her misery.

Since December, People (Check On Me), a heartfelt plea for assistance that caught her at a heartbreaking low moment, has been streamed more than 150 million times.

It has topped the UK Afrobeats chart for eight weeks.

The singer’s popular song debuts in the top 10 on the charts. This week, Libianca’s crossover smash song “People” breaks the top 10 at No. 8 after rising three spots from No. 11 the previous week.
