Rema’s Calm Down Becomes 1st Afrobeat Song to Hit 400m Views on YouTube

Rema achieves yet another milestone as “Calm Down” reaches 400 million YouTube views.
Rema has made history once more as the music video for his international hit song “Calm down” surpasses 400 million views on YouTube, becoming the first ever Nigerian music video to do so.
According to reports, Rema’s Calm Down tune is the first Afrobeat song to achieve such a feat.
The song “Calm Down” is from Rema’s debut studio album, Rave and Rose, which was released earlier in 2022.
The Mavin record artist also dropped a remix with American singer Selena Gomez, and as of 2022, that song had amassed the highest streams of any Afro-beat song.

Recall that not too long ago, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Calm Down was awarded 3x Platinum certification in Canada after selling 240,000 units.
The certification was issued on the 24th of February, 2023 and was also issued a double Platinum on the same day.

In the meantime, American rap star, Lil Nas X, is set to release new music featuring Rema.
Lil Nas has teased a new song with Nigerian hitmaker Rema. On March 8th, the American rapper posted the snippet on his social media page.
The Amercian star will work with an Afrobeats artist for the first time on the record, and The Mavins prince will add another country to his increasing roster of foreign collaborations.
Since becoming popular with his hit song “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X has quickly
