Mp3bullet.ng presents well-known foreign artists we would like to see collaborate with Nigerian artists.
The gap between Nigerian artists and foreign artists keeps getting closer as the globalization of the Afrobeat movement helps bridge this.
In recent years, Nigerian-International collaborations are on the rise with Nigerian artists collaborating with some of the top International artists that years back they could only dream of seeing.
From Wizkid being on Beyonce’s award-winning song, “Brown Skin Girl”, to Tems writing a song for Rihanna, it gets better each day.
Now there are a lot of Nigerian artists getting their dream collaborations from their favourite foreign artists and the best part, is that they don’t have to beg for it, these artists from oceans away gladly jump on being featured on an Afrobeat song.
However, there are still some mainstream International artists who are yet to make the Afrobeat transition and Mp3bullet.ng put together five foreign artists who we would gladly see collaborate with Nigerian artists.

Adele
This singing nightingale is one of the most powerful female singers in the world. With over 16 Grammys, millions of streams, and sold-out tours to her name, Adele is one artist whose name sells records and a collaboration with a Nigerian artist is sure to catapult the name of whoever the lucky Nigerian star is.
While many may worry if she can find her ground on an Afrobeat song, if Ed Sheeran could pull off Fireboy DML’s “Peru” remix, this shouldn’t be a problem.
Jay Z
Imagine having HOV on a song. It is certain that most Nigerian rappers will kill for this. While his wife, Beyonce has made the Afrobeat transition, even having a great number of Nigerian artists on an album, Jay Z is still yet to budge on the genre.
If this would ever happen, only time can tell.
Eminem
Like Jay Z, Eminem is another kill-for artist most Nigerian artists will gladly do blood rituals to get on a song.
Eminem might have his flaws but it doesn’t stop him from being desired by rappers, even the OGs.
Taylor Swift
Afrobeat has a place for everyone no matter the genre an artist is used to, so even if Taylor Swift is known for her Pop and country songs, she could still do well on an Afrobeat song.

Travis Scott
Once upon a time in the Nigerian music industry, Travis was reportedly said to have a collaboration with Nigerian OG rapper, Olamide in the works. The supposed song was allegedly going to be in Olamide’s 2020 album but unfortunately, when “Carpe Diem” dropped, there was no Travis Scott.
While that was disappointing for many, the probability that one day a Nigerian artist will collaborate with Travis Scott is high, I mean even Drake could not resist the lure of Afrobeat.
