Nigerians Drag Davido On Twitter For Liking Video Accusing Labour Party Of Rigging Election
Nigerians have criticised Afrobeats musician Davido on social media for what they believe to be an attack on Labour Party and the Obidient movement.
The musician reportedly liked a video that activist Deji Adeyanju made in which he claimed that the Labour Party was also involved in the manipulation of the election.
In a video he posted over the weekend, Adeyanju stated that certain people were tampering with the results on the ballots, just like the APC and PDP.
Adeyanju then captioned the video, ‘So Labour Party too dey rig like APC and PDP? Na wa ooo’!
Checking Davido’s Twitter account revealed that he had liked the tweet, which infuriated his supporters, many of whom are Obidient movement members.
People who believed that Davido was offline were astonished to find him liking a tweet of such nature.

The fact that he had never hidden his sympathy for the Peoples Democratic Party in the past also made his action much more suspicious to those who dragged him.
However, after coming under fire, Davido had apparently unliked the tweet but trolls already took screenshots.
A tweep identified as @itzbasito expressed surprise because he thought the DMW chief had stayed off social media since last year.
“Thought they said Davido is offline?” he wrote.
