Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems dazzle fans with energetic performances at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.
Yesterday’s halftime show of the 2023 NBA All-Star Game featured energetic performances by Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems who were all introduced by the Toronto Raptors’ Pascal Siakam, who is from Cameroon.
The event was a lengthy celebration of African music, with Nigeria serving as the sole headlining act.
Most NBA All-Stars stayed courtside during halftime instead of going to the locker room because of the catchy tunes, recording the performers and watching them perform.
Burna Boy performed his singles “Anybody” and “It’s Plenty” to start the evening, while Rema gave a wonderfully jubilant performance, energising the audience with upbeat performances of “Calm Down” and “Holiday.”

Tems was the final performer, closing things out with a massive set that included “Crazy Tings,” “Free Mind,” her line from Wizkid’s “Essence,” and her verse from Future’s “Wait For U.”
All of them were supported by stunning visual effects, a dance team that performed both traditional and contemporary African dances, and a band that kept the energy upbeat.
And just as things seemed to be coming to a close, Burna Boy made a surprise appearance to perform “Ye” and “Last Last,” two of his biggest hits.
