Roll Up hitmaker, Emtee advises South African celebrities to use equipped security to protect themselves. Most South African musicians now face a security threat as a result of the unfortunate deaths of DJ Sumbody, AKA, and DJ Citi Lyts.

Emtee is one of the rappers that has fled in fear due to all the killings of South African celebrities. All prominent South Africans should hire armed security, according to the Roll Up hitmaker.

Emtee said in a tweet that celebrity lives are under threat claiming that the enemies are coming to kill them one by one. “Musicians, artists, public figures and athletes GET ARMED SECURITY A D PROTECT YOURSELF. They tryna finish us all. One by one,” he tweeted.

Emtee’s genuine fear for his safety following the death of AKA is palpable. The rapper spoke up about getting threats to his life. Emtee claimed in an interview with Zimoja that he received death threats after DJ Sumbody passed away, claiming that he would soon follow.

He added that “Somebody is trying to extort me for money that I don’t have. He says I’m next after DJ Sumbody,” he said. “I don’t talk about it because people are sure that I’m some retard. Nobody will believe me until I’m dead,”

Emtee also stated in the interview that he has previously gotten death threats and that he had previously blocked the number, but he continues to get threats from other numbers.

“I first delete the messages and blocked the number, and they continued sending messages with a different number. I am scared, but I know I didn’t do anything to anyone. The person wants R25 million, where do I get that kind of money?” he said.

The rapper earlier revealed on Twitter that he is searching for a bodyguard, emphasizing how serious these threats are. “We’re in search of a bodyguard/security and shatta dem,” he tweeted.
