Cassper Justifies Absence at AKA’s Funeral and Memorial Service. The passing of AKA, a prominent character in the South African hip-hop culture, continues to shock the world.

One of the pivotal moments in the rapper’s career was his rivalry with Cassper. The two’s competition in SA hip hop reaches a point where they must settle their differences through a boxing battle.

Since AKA has passed away, Cassper has been under fire from many South African hip-hop fans who want to know what he thinks about the rapper’s passing.

The question of whether Mufasa will attend AKA’s memorial service was posed to him on Twitter by one of his followers. @casspernyovest, are you approaching the memorial? Check out the tweet. Cassper replied that he would be travelling and would therefore be unable to attend AKA’s funeral and memorial ceremony.

He added by saying that no matter how others see his connection with Kiernan, the rapper said he still respects AKA’s contribution to South African hip hop and cherishes every wonderful moment they enjoyed together. He also stated he would have attended the burial if he had been in the country.

“Unfortunately I’ll be out of the country for work but if I was around I would’ve went. I would’ve went to the funeral too. No matter how you look at it, me and Kiernan shared a lot of great moments together and he contributed to my industry so I have to pay my respects.” Wrote Cassper.
