Eedris Abdulkareem admits he was surprised when his wife agreed to donate her kidney.
Eedris Abdulkareem has described how his wife helped him during his kidney problem.
He recounted his experience in an interview with TVC Entertainment Splash.
He said that he went for a consultation with his wife when the doctor informed him that he had a stage four kidney condition.
He claims that the doctor advised him to find a donor as soon as possible in order to preserve his life.
The doctor reacted by saying it was not possible after the patient asked if they could find someone to donate blood for him. The person had to be a family member and they have to be compatible as well.
He was taken aback when his wife offered to be a donor. She demanded that they conduct the test right away to see if they were compatible.
He continued by saying that the test was completed and their compatibility was established, and that is how he performed the surgery and treated the kidney.
