Tekno shares how it affected him when his vocal cords got damaged.
The talented singer Tekno, real name Augustine Miles Kelechi, recently opened up about his battle with vocal cords damage in an interview with media personality Joey Akan.
He claims that following a performance he gave in Ghana, he learned that he had lost his voice. He also went for more than a year without being able to speak, sing, or perform.
He continues by saying that he was so frustrated that he almost killed himself.

In the meantime, in an exclusive conversation with Joey Akan, Tekno explained how Wizkid’s smash single “Ojuelegba” served as the inspiration for his record-breaking song “RARA,” which dominated the airwaves after its release.
The vocalist admitted that although the final production’s instrumentation was different, the acapella for the two songs actually sounded similar.
According to him, the difference is not obvious, but if you strip the beats of RARA, you will definitely get the vibe of OJUELEGBA.
He admitted that he had actually made “RARA” because he had appreciated “Ojuelegba” so much.
