    An intern journalist who damaged a $2K Panasonic GH6 camera while hurrying to interview Burna Boy in Paris has supposedly been compensated by the artist.

    According to a tweet seen on the HipHopMin5 page, Burna Boy became aware of the situation and contacted his accountant to arrange for a financial gift to help the young woman replace the damaged camera.

    “While in Paris today a young journalist on internship mistakenly smashed her ‘Panasonic GH6’ Camera worth over $2000 dollars while rushing to interview Burna Boy.

    “The African giant noticed this and asked his accountant to give the Journalist some money to get a new camera,” the post reads.

    Media personality Daddy Freeze reposted this on his Instagram page, wondering why the good news about Burna Boy didn’t make headlines in Nigeria.

    According to him, Nigerians are fond of bashing one of their own.

    “How come Nigerians won’t carry this story? Na to bash our own we sabi,” he captioned his post.

    However, Nigerians have been quick to point out that Burna Boy would have kicked the journalist instead of helping out if she was a Nigerian.

    See reactions below;

    sim_plyma; My question be , if na nigeria this same thing happen sha him go do the same?

    mikeike5508; If na for Nigeria he for match the journalist Camera

    alarm_blo; But would he have done done same if it was a Nigerian journalist in nigeria ?

    owopompin; Because, he doesn’t act that way to Nigerians in Nigeria, many of you guys disrespect Nigerians but you behave well overseas ….

    phashbaba; Will he had done that to a Nigerian journalist? If he rates his roots definitely his roots will celebrate and rate him in return
