-
Tiwa Savage reveals how Nigerian and South African music industries can resolve its conflict.
The reason why Nigerian artists are more successful than other individuals has been revealed by Tiwa Savage.
Tiwa Savage opened up on this while expressing her opinions on the ongoing conflict between the South African and Nigerian music industries.
Although Tiwa emphasised that everyone should not be judged by the behaviour of a small number of people, she underlined that both parties still had a great deal of mending to do in order to rid themselves of mistrust.
In addition to expressing her love for South Africa, she noted that it was time for individuals to speak out and let the world know that they were all related by blood.
She went on to say that there should be no bloodshed in order for someone to win.

When it came to her legacy, the singer also discussed what she wanted to accomplish before retiring. Tiwa said she wanted to be recognised as a flag bearer and as an African woman who did not give up when she was rejected.
Tiwa Savage also provided some insight into why Nigerian artists are more successful than other African artists on a worldwide scale, claiming that it is because Nigerians are tough and tenacious by nature.
“I don’t know but I think Nigerians are tough, we are hustlers, and because the genre is Afrobeat and the godfather of Afrobeat is Fela Kuti so maybe that’s another reason we are successful,” she said.
